The Beaumont Art Walk is coming back! This outdoor event, rain or shine, will be on June 3rd 2023 from 11 – 5 pm, at the Ken Nichols Recreation Centre (South Park Lot) at 5303 – 50 St .  With the huge success of last year’s inaugural event, the Artists’ Association of Beaumont (AAB) are preparing for the second annual Beaumont Art Walk to be even more popular,  based on feedback and applications submitted.  Elaine Grandon, the event coordinator indicated, “I’m thrilled!  We have received over 50 applications from artists within 48 hours!”  

The range of artists and artisans is diverse; paintings in a variety of mediums, fibre arts, glass, clay, wood, you name it!   Some return artists some new!  We will be partnering once again, with Beaumont Blues and Roots to provide curated music and beer gardens!  Come have snack at one of the tasty food trucks as well! 

Our volunteer base was awesome last year and we are hoping to get even more people involved this year.  Perks of volunteering include a free lunch, a commemorative T-Shirt and just plain old fun hanging out with artists and the community!  We accept individuals 14 years or older, and under 14 if accompanied by an adult. We would love to hear from sports teams or youth groups who would be available as a group for set up and take down. Email artistsassociationofbeaumont@gmail.com with VOLUNTEER in the subject line if you are interested and we will get back to you to discuss options.  No experience is needed and there are a variety of opportunities for up to 4 hour shifts for volunteers to help!
