YOU are invited to our Art Connects Celebration on Monday, April 27th at The Art Hub in KNRC- from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. We have so much to be thankful for this year and we want to celebrate another great year of Art Connects Programming!
THANK YOU – our dedicated team of Art Connects volunteers, and instructors who have worked hard to provide a successful lineup of workshops, presentations, and meetups; those of you who attended our programs and provided valuable feedback; and the city of Beaumont and their Arts Advisory Committee for recognizing the potential in our initiative and assisting with grant funding to make it happen. It truly takes a team, and we are grateful to each and every one of you involved.
The evening will include networking, appies, a guest speaker and a pop-up exhibit of artwork created in the workshops!
Past Workshop Attendees – bring your artwork to the Art Hub on Thursday, April 23 from 7-9 pm or, on the day of the event, April 27th from 12 – 2 pm, so we can set up the display prior to the start of the event.
At 7:00 PM, our guest speaker, Kim Fjordbotten, a visual artist, instructor, and advocate for the arts from the Paint Spot, will be presenting. Kim brings over 35 years of experience in teaching and exploring various art materials and creative techniques. Her philosophy is that “art is for everyone and is a lifelong pursuit. Creating art is not about reaching a fixed level of achievement but rather about continuous growth, experimentation, and curiosity. The more we know, the more we want to know.” And for fun, you may want to bring a few dollars as Kim may have some interesting art supplies available for sale!
If attending, simply send a quick RSVP to artistsassociationofbeaumont@gmail.com or comment on this post, with the number of people you are bringing with you. Your RSVP will help us better plan for the evening. Show your support for the art community in Beaumont!
Bring your friends and family for a delightful night out! Looking forward to celebrating with all of you!
