Upcoming Workshops
Join the Artists’ Association of Beaumont for an evening of Figure Drawing hosted by artist Andre Nolerm! These sessions provide opportunity for artists of all experience levels to practice drawing the human form from a live nude model, with a focus on observation, proportion, anatomy, gesture, and capturing movement.
Whether you’re new to figure drawing or looking to strengthen your skills, these relaxed, practice-focused sessions are a great way to explore the human form, develop your drawing abilities, and connect with the fellow artists in the Beaumont Community.
The first session takes place Saturday, September 19 from 6-9PM at the Art Hub (KNRC 5303 50st Beaumont). Some materials will be provided. Sessions are $20 for non-members and $15 for AAB members, with a discount available when booking all eight sessions in advance.

On September 28th at 6:30-8:30, join the Artists’ Association of Beaumont, led by Marisa Supple-McKinney for a meaningful, hands-on activity in recognition of Orange Shirt Day. Participants will create their own orange shirt pin while learning about the importance of remembering and honoring the children who were impacted by residential schools and recognizing the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.
This activity provides an opportunity to reflect, learn, and show support for residential school survivors!
What’s included: Participants will learn how to edgebead and will walk away with a beaded orange shirt pin to wear in support of Orange Shirt Day and throughout the year! This is a Beginner class so no experience necessary!
All materials are provided. Please note to bring visual aids like reading glasses if needed; beading is fine work. The instructor will be using a document camera and screen to help show the fine detail work.
Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the Orange Shirt Society!
