September marks the start of a new year for the Artists’ Association of Beaumont (AAB)!  On Wednesday, Sept 13th 2023, from 7 – 9 pm in the event room (1st floor) of the Beaumont Sports and Rec Centre, the group will be having their first annual meeting and we would like to invite artists of all levels (both members and/or interested parties), to come to our meeting and see what we are all about!  The business of board member appointments/elections will be completed,  and then the group will be discussing what new opportunities the upcoming year will bring and obtain feedback about potential future ventures.  

Currently the AAB is a fairly small group of artists of all levels and love to have new artists join us. Artists can learn so much from each other and it’s a great chance to participate in some fun monthly ‘art jams’ and ‘open studio time” that will start again in the fall. Members get to know each other, and have opportunities to learn from each other, display their art in exhibitions and/or shows, and perhaps plan something new.

We hold our business meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and we

keep our annual fees at $30/year so they are affordable for everyone. However, in return we encourage members to volunteer throughout the year. We are a volunteer based organization and appreciate members assistance.  There are a variety of ways to volunteer, such as helping with an event, organizing an activity, participating on the board, assisting with social media or website activities, writing articles, etc.. and over the year, the time flies by when you are having fun with friends!
