Due to high demand, we are offering a second Pressed Flower workshop! Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to join The Art of Pressed Flowers with Shelagh Hirch on Monday, June 9th, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the event room of Beaumont Sports and Recreation Centre. (5001 Rue Eaglemont, Beaumont AB). As mentioned in previous communications, members get first priority for registration, so this workshop will be open exclusively to members for two days until May 26th. After this date, the class will be offered to the public.

In this bloom-filled workshop, Shelagh Hirch will guide you through the art of pressing flowers and show you how to create a stunning masterpiece that captures the essence of nature’s beauty. It’s like painting with petals, allowing you to express your artistic vision in a uniquely floral way! For those of you who took the first class, this one may offer you a bit more of a challenge as you utilize a template to form shapes with these delightful flowers!

We’ll provide ALL the materials you need to create your floral wonders, including an array of flowers, cuttings and frames. With Shelagh’s expert guidance, you’ll learn the techniques behind pressing and arranging the flowers, resulting in breathtaking pieces of art that you can hang in your home!
