AAB joins NOA Art Walk!

Get ready to be inspired. In less than a week, the NOA Art Walk will kick off, celebrating creativity and community spirit while supporting a truly remarkable cause. The Artists’ Association of Beaumont is proudly participating in this event, check us out in booth 90. If you’re new to this event, let us introduce you to an incredible initiative that brings together over 100 talented artists, all united in their passion for art and philanthropy. At its heart, the NOA Art Walk is a heartfelt tribute and fundraiser for Amy’s House, a haven that provides free accommodations to families traveling over 100 kilometers to Edmonton for cancer treatment, a truly life-changing initiative. Learn more about Amy’s House and its inspiring work at www.amyshouse.ca. What’s more, admission is free for much of the weekend event, inviting everyone to explore and shop from an incredible array of art. We hope you’ll also shop the silent auction and attend the Gala where you can purchase tickets, all in support of Amy’s House, a testament to the power of community and compassion.

Rural Roots 2025

Over 100 community painters of all ages came together to add color to our mural on Saturday at the Rural Roots Fair, hosted by the Beaumont and District Agricultural Society. Fifteen enthusiastic volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the day, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to paint a section of the mural. Even the youngest children participated by creating their own ‘mini-murals.’

The mural will be completed in the coming weeks by the AAB mural workshop team, who have enjoyed learning about the process of designing and painting a mural.

AAB is grateful for the ongoing partnership with BADAS and their willingness to embrace our creative ideas.

We would also like to thank the City of Beaumont for their financial support through an Arts Grant.

Additionally, our gratitude goes to Cloverdale Paint in Nisku for sponsoring the project by offering invaluable advice and providing quality paint and supplies at a discounted rate.

Summer of 2025 Plein Air Sessions

This summer, several artists have been gathering for plein air sessions. But what does “plein air” mean? The French term “plein air” translates to “out of doors” and refers to the practice of completing entire paintings outdoors. The artists have been meeting at various locations to work on their individual studies.
