Join us for a captivating introduction to the encaustic medium with Dilys Kulchitsky, a talented self-taught artist from Edmonton, Alberta, who specializes in Encaustic Mixed Media. Her stunning creations often incorporate unique materials such as wool, kimono fabric, Swarovski crystals, copper wire, vintage items, and dried flowers, creating truly one-of-a-kind works of art.

This exciting event will feature an engaging talk covering the essential aspects of encaustic medium, including its history, vital safety information, and the tools you’ll need. After the talk, Dilys will showcase various techniques, including the art of encaustic collage.

It will be held on Monday April 14,  2025 at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm in the Event room, in the Beaumont Sports and Recreation Centre 5001 Rue Eaglemont, Beaumont, AB.
