About us

Our Vision and Mission

Artists’ Association of Beaumont, AAB, is a passionate group of local artists and makers of all levels. Our mandate is to grow and promote a strong visual arts community in the Beaumont area.

AAB celebrates art and shines a spotlight on our artists with our Facebook (Artists’ Association of Beaumont) and Instagram page. We bring the gift of art to our Beaumont community in a variety of ways through exhibitions, classes, and Art Connects workshops.

AAB has hosted the Beaumont Art Show and Handmade Market annually for over 25 years (until interrupted by the pandemic). We also bring art to community events such as the Blues and Roots Festival, Rural Roots Festival, and Brighten Up Beaumont Festival.

Our association encourages and supports creative initiative in its members. Members with ideas for exhibitions, workshops, art jam topics, or any other creative endeavor are supported with funding and volunteers to ensure success. Members can borrow equipment needed for successful Zoom workshops, display grids, easels etc – whatever is needed to bring an art project to reality.

AAB meets twice a month from September through May – once for our regular business meeting and once a week for our Art Meetups where we socialize, create, learn from and inspire each other.

We bring the gift of art to the community of Beaumont while inspiring, encouraging, and celebrating each other as a community of like-minded people.  As one of our members commented, “It’s great to be a part of something bigger than yourself.”
